High pressure tubes have been used to make electromechanical devices (such as chart recorders to record processes, electrical inputs and specific parameters. These devices register one or more electrical inputs and report them on a paper. In this case, we precisely refer to temperature (form -200° up to 600°C) and pressure (from 4000 bar to 60.000 PSI) recorders used in the gas distribution and transmission field.
The same tubes have been also used to make comparison test pumps that is portable precise instruments used as pressure generators to calibrate other instruments such as pressure gauges, sensors and transducers in comparison with master pressure gauges. Thanks to the fact that they are portable, they may be carried out not only in the laboratory, but also at the workshop, or on site at the measuring point because they don’t need a power supply. Depending on the pressure range, they can be of different kind.
