2024 has been a year of growth for Tecra srl, especially at an international level.
Thanks to our efforts, dedication and satisfaction we achieved many goals.
First of all we wanted to project the company into international markets, a path far to be easy especially considering the current global geopolitical situation that necessarily has consequences on companies behaviour and choices. Despite difficulties, we overcame obstacles and entered unexplored markets. Thanks to the Italian Chamber Commerce in Dubai we reinforced our presence in the Emirates being part of a project for the second year. It has been a good opportunity to meet local economic operators relying on our representative in Dubai and to inaugurate a showroom with the other selected companies. The UAE are a promising place for the near future. Nevertheless, our commitment is not limited to the Emirates; in fact, we also maintained a connection with Greece thanks to our trusted agent. In both cases the presence of local representatives has proved crucial to make inroads in new markets.
Furthermore, our focus concentrated on customers. In fact, the central position we put them, led us make new choices in terms of an extension of the products we can sell. For this reason, during the year, we introduced new kinds of tubes and launched a new product line: compression and forged fittings. All these operations led to a successful increase in the number of costumers who rely on Tecra as their reliable partner in the petrochemical, oil&gas and energy industry.
Then, regarding the attention on quality, we obtained the ISO 9001:2015 recertification.
Riding the wave of digitalization and of a better informatization, we invested in training and external digital communication. We opened a Linkedin profile to be more visible, to meet new operators and to interact with them in a new and easy way. Moreover, the introduction of a newsletter and a blog gave more visibility to our activities.
In the end, we have taken the first steps in the field of sustainability, respect for environment and compliance with the new European legislation dealing with imports such us CBAM, REACH declaration etc.
Now we are looking to the future. New challenges are awaiting us and we will be ready to face with them; we will explore new markets reinforcing our presence beyond national borders and new partnership can born seizing the opportunities we will meet along the way.
