In the centre, the hydrocarbons coming from the Val d’Agri deposit are processed. Then, the stored crude oil is transported up to Taranto Refinery and methane gas is distributed in the national SNAM RETE GAS grid. The site is controlled twenty four hours and here 35.000 oil barrels and 2.5 millions gas sm3 are produced every day.
