This alloy is choosen especially in the chemical field because it has got a strong resistance to corrosion. Among the different types, we principally supply hastelloy C276 whose chemical composition is: nickel (about 55%), molybdenum, cobalt and tungsten. It is highly resistant to corrosion caused by chemical agents especially when there are chlorine, chlorine dioxide, ferric chloride etc. It is also used for heat exchangers and in aerospatial and paper industry.
There is also an other type of this alloy even more resistant to corrosive agents that is hastelloy C22.
