Nickel tubes alloy 625

This is a very resistant alloy both to oxidation and corrosion, included pitting and cracking corrosion); so, for this reason it is usually used in high corrosive environments where for example there is sea water or in contact with acid substances. It is resistant to nitric, phosphoric, sulphuric and hydrocloric acids. it withstands very high temperatures up to 1000°C or cryogenic temperatures down to -900°. Thanks to the high percentage of nickel prevents from stress corrosion cracking during the corrosion process. On the other hand, the presence of molybdenum together with niobium make the alloy hard without the necessity to activate hardening process. It is also easily to work and weld.
