Nickel alloy tubes
On request, Tecra supplies seamless and welded nickel alloy tubes in rods.
Nickel alloys can be divided into two macrocategories: nickel- chromium alloy and nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy.
These tubes are made of nickel with the addition of other metals and chemical substances depending on the properties required by the alloy. They have got an excellent corrosion and heat resistance. They are, in fact, widely used in contexts at high temperatures and in cryogenic conditions that is at very low temperatures.
These products are used in aerospace, defense, aeronautic industry, in the oilgas, energy, chemical and petrochemical field, in heat exchangers and in sewage treatment plants.
We summarize below the nickel alloys that we supply most frequently and that correspond to the most common ones:
MOST COMMON NICKEL ALLOYS:
NICKEL ALLOY 625 OR INCONEL 625
alloy or nickel-chromium and molybdenum superalloy
NICKEL ALLOY 825 OR INCOLOY 825
Alloy of nickel, chromium, molybdenum, iron, copper and titanium
