Temparossa centre oil

It is an important Lucanian petroleum site that became operative in 2020. It also boats the fact of being one of the most advanced plant in this field. Through an existing oil pipeline, the extracted crude oil is transported to Taranto refinery. The site consists also of a natural gas processing plant where natural gas is transformed into methane and LPG. In addition, in order to avoid that gas sulphur compounds are released into atmosphere once exctracted from the well, they are transformed into sulphur in a specific processing plant.
